Bruno Fernandes is the most sold player in FPL before the GW7 deadline. Here are the best replacements, and what to do with Szoboszlai, Isak and Schade.
Bruno Fernandes is the most sold player in Fantasy Premier League heading into the GW7 deadline, with 367,515 transfers out this week, and the numbers say the exodus is fair. The Man Utd captain costs £11.9m, is owned by 33.8% of managers and has 32 points. He scored 23 of them in GW2 and has managed 2, 2, 2 and 1 in the four gameweeks since. The deadline is 11:00 on Saturday 17 October.
Fernandes isn’t unlucky. FPL’s own expected data gives him 2.58 expected goals and 1.46 expected assists, 4.04 combined, and he has three goals and one assist. He’s producing what the chances suggest, and what they suggest isn’t worth £11.9m. Groß, at £6.0m, has 53 points. That’s the case for selling.

Who replaces Fernandes
If you sell, the same-club route is the obvious one. Cunha costs £7.9m, is owned by just 6.5% and has scored 10 points in each of his last two gameweeks, which frees £4.0m and keeps you exposed to United at Leeds on Sunday (2pm). Mbeumo is the same price and has 4.21 expected goal involvements, more than Fernandes, so his 33 points look light rather than lucky. We’d take Mbeumo for the underlying numbers, and Cunha only if you want the form.
Outside United, Cherki (£7.9m, 32.9% owned) has Ipswich at home and 44 points, and Groß (£6.0m, 40.4% owned) has Crystal Palace at home and joint-best form among midfielders (10.0). Moving Fernandes to Groß frees £5.9m. If you’re on a wildcard, our GW7 Free Hit team already has both of them in.
Don’t sell for the sake of it. United’s next three after Leeds are Bournemouth at home, Chelsea away and Villa at home, and Fernandes takes penalties. If he’s your captain-proof midfielder and you’ve got nothing better to spend £11.9m on, keeping him is defensible. But a free transfer is better spent on someone with a flag.
The Liverpool problem
Szoboszlai, Isak and Gakpo have been sold by roughly 930,000 managers between them, and the club hasn’t given anyone a timeline. Isak and Gakpo are flagged at 0%. Szoboszlai is at 75% and Andoni Iraola said on Thursday that he’d leave the chance open for Brentford, with a decision after Friday’s training. Wait for Friday’s press conferences before you lock in, and if there’s no clear all-clear, we wouldn’t hold a 75% player. Check the GW7 injury news page for updates after Friday’s press conferences.
Schade is the harder call. He’s a 75% doubt with a shoulder problem, but he has 40 points and a form of 5.0, and Liverpool at home is a level-4 fixture in FPL’s rating. If you have a decent bench player to cover, hold; if not, move him.
Wissa has 17 points from 2.50 expected goals, so he’s the one on this list who looks like bad luck rather than bad form. Newcastle host Villa on Saturday at 5.30pm.
Our other GW7 picks are in the transfer market guide, the captain picks and the FPL Hub.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
